Generation Technology Summer Camps

Generation Teach (GT) partners with local schools to provide talented and diverse young people with transformative summer teaching experiences to inspire them to become urban teachers. We build place-based pipelines of potential teachers who are invested in the students, schools, and communities we serve.

GT’s STEAM Academy
Generation Teach leads dynamic, engaging STEAM Academies —enriching summer programs for rising sixth through eighth graders. From 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, our students learn, create, build, design, and grow together in small classes with caring teachers. Elective classes, college visits, and special events make each week memorable, while competitions, advisors, and community meetings connect every student to the community. In our small classes, talented and diverse college and high-school students build relationships with students and develop them as learners and leaders. Check out the STEAM Academy fliers (in English and Spanish) to learn more and enroll now! Programs will be at Grant Ranch School in the southwest, Greenwood K-8 in the far northeast, and CEC Early College in the northwest. Please indicate your site preference on the enrollment paperwork. Please email GTSADenver@genteach.org with questions about student enrollment.

Northfield Nighthawks Boys Soccer Summer Program

The Northfield Nighthawks Boys Soccer program is proud to bring you its first summer of soccer camps! Northfield soccer camps are designed to mirror the fun, technical, attacking and goal scoring culture that Northfield High School continues to embrace.

Led by current head coach Jason Keever, each camp focuses on maximizing time spent on the ball, with an emphasis on proper technical repetition that progresses into application through game-like situations. During the week all players are grouped according to age level and/or ability, and each group will have a technical coordinator throughout the week.

All players will learn, practice, and then apply various skills across an overall attacking themed environment, including: 1v1 attacking, cutting and turning of the ball, breaking pressure,  controlling/serving flighted balls, and striking/finishing. Each day will finish with small sided games, and there will be a surprise autograph signing by a current Colorado Rapids player!
