McAuliffe is closed the entire week of November 20th for Thanksgiving break. School will resume on Monday, November 27th. Have a great break!
Please join the McAuliffe Critical Needs Committee in spreading some holiday cheer to McAuliffe families in need this holiday season! Visit the “McAuliffe Giving Tree” to see how you can help! Give back to our school community by choosing a wish or two to grant this holiday season. As a school community, we are eager to assist these families and students in meaningful ways so that every McAuliffe students knows that they are cared for and can come to school ready to learn. Thanks so much for helping to make the holiday season bright for all McAuliffe students and their families!
Please return all gifts to the main office no later than Friday, December 15th, wrapped or in a gift bag with a tag denoting the letter-number code.
Also, help us spread the word! We’d love to get this message out to as many people as possible who may want to help (they need not be McAuliffe families to sponsor a child). If you have any questions, please contact Kim Ezrine at email@example.com.
McAuliffe will be conducting School Tours for parents and their current 5th grade students from October 4th-February 23rd. In addition to School Tours, we will have an Open House on Thursday, December 7th. Visit our Enrollment page to sign-up for either School Tours or the Open House.
Due to the enrollment demand and the increasing student population in the boundary, we ask that ONLY current residents of the Greater Park Hill / Stapleton shared middle school enrollment boundary or those intending to move to our boundary area register for the School Tours and the Open House.
McAuliffe International School does not do student shadowing.
If you are interested in McAuliffe Manual, please click here for tour and open house information. McAuliffe Manual was recently recognized by DPS as a green school for it’s academic achievements. For more information on McAuliffe Manual visit their website here.
We are happy to share that McAuliffe International School students excelled on the PARCC assessments administered in the Spring of 2017. Our students’ median growth in math skills ranked #13 in the state out of over 500 middle schools and our students median growth in literacy skills ranked #16. McAuliffe is also #1 of all middle schools in Denver Public Schools for average student academic growth the past two school years. We realize that standardized test scores are just one indicator of a student’s success in school, but we are proud to know that our students are learning at the highest rates of any middle school in state of Colorado. Kudos to our students and our teachers for their hard work and excellence in the classroom!
