I am excited to be joining the science team here at McAuliffe after spending the last seven years teaching middle school science not too far away at Bruce Randolph School. Before serving the students of Denver, I spent time teaching outdoor and environmental education to children and adults of all ages at the Keystone Science School in Keystone, CO and teaching high school earth and physical science, astronomy, and zoology. I am a proud Pennsylvania native and hold both an undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences with a concentration in Geology and Planetary Sciences as well as a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from the University of Pittsburgh. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time outside, snuggling my kitten Margot and dog Tank, and cheering on Pittsburgh sports. Go Steelers!
