I am from originally from Connecticut and made a two year pit stop in California before moving to Colorado in 2016. I graduated from Springfield College in 2014 with a B.S. in Movement and Sports Studies, a concentration in Physical Education, and a Minor in Health Studies. My love for education came from my parents, who were both teachers. Their desire to teach was passed down to myself and my two brothers who are also teachers.
I am incredibly passionate about working with children of all ages in a variety of capacities. I love teaching and coaching. My Physical Education philosophy encourages the education and development of the whole child in “spirit, mind, and body”.
Outside of teaching, I spend a lot of time working and volunteering for The Painted Turtle, a camp for children with life-threatening illnesses in Southern California. In my spare time I love to spend time with my family, camp, visit National Parks, play sports, and travel!
