I am originally from Tacoma, WA and completed my undergraduate studies in social sciences at the University of Washington. After spending 10 years in accounting and administration, I decided it was time to switch things up and pursue my love of history, political science, and teaching at the University of Colorado, Denver. I recently completed my MA in Education and Human Development, as well as a one year internship at Denver Center for International Studies. I have lived in Denver for the last eight years, and have called Park Hill home for the last four. I spend my free time skiing, travelling, reading, and chasing around after my rambunctious three year-old.
