I am a Colorado native and a proud graduate of both CU Boulder (bachelor’s degree in Philosophy) and CU Denver (master’s degree in Architecture). Before teaching Honors math, I spent 10 years as a residential architect. Through the Denver Teaching Fellows program, I made this final career change and am blessed to be able to spend my time and energy empowering and inspiring young people. My love of math borders on “nerdy” and it’s infectious – you’ll see! Outside of teaching, I foster dogs for a local animal rescue group, referee my teenage twins, and help coach the McAuliffe Math Club. Not necessarily in this order, I adore nonfat lattes, Vivaldi’s oboe concertos, and all things Scottish.
