Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, I studied at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in French Studies. After my undergraduate studies, I spent a year teaching English and speaking French in Martinique, a French island in the Caribbean, where my passion for teaching was born. My graduate studies then took me to Grenoble, France, the heart of the French Alps, where I spent three years working and earning a Master’s degree in Teaching French as a Foreign Language. After 2 years teaching IB French at a boarding school in Arizona, I am thrilled to be a member of the team at McAuliffe International! While teaching and the French language are huge passions of mine, I couldn’t live without the outdoors or the mountains: I’m a cyclist, runner, skier, and general outdoorsman. I love travel, music, and literature. My love of the French language and culture stems from my high school French teacher who inspired me and showed me the beauty of being a francophone.
