Born and raised in Gainesville, Florida, I grew up with two dogs and four cows as pets. My first teaching job was in Bronx, New York in 2016 after graduating with a Masters in Art Education from Florida State University. I moved to Colorado on Independence Day in 2017 with my dog, Iggy. I love climbing rocks, painting, and writing poetry. I aspire to use art as a vehicle for social change. I hope to guide my students to explore their sense of self identity among many other critical topics through visual art.
