7th Grade Social Studies

Teachers & Staff

This will be my 6th year of teaching and I am so excited to be teaching 7th grade Social Studies! I have spent the past five years teaching 5th grade and am looking forward to working with students during such an important transitional age. A bit about me, I grew up in Utah and moved to Denver in 2012 after completing my B.S. in History to pursue a Masters in Education. I obtained my teaching license from the Boettcher Teacher Residency Program in 2014 and graduated from Regis University with a master’s in Urban Education. I have a 15 year old son who went to McAuliffe and is now beginning his Sophomore year at East. My husband grew up in Park Hill, so we absolutely love living in the neighborhood with our family! When I’m not working you will find me spending as much time as I can outside. I’ll be either climbing mountains or riding my little red bike around the neighborhood!!
