7th / 8th Grade Visual Arts
Teachers & Staff
Born in DC, I moved to New York in 2005 to study Studio Art at New York University and then Art Education at the School of Visual Arts. In April of 2019 my husband and I decided it was high time we give mountains and cleaner air a try, so we moved to Denver and are loving it here! Teaching art and making art are equal passions of mine. My own arts education taught me to think like an artist: someone who is constantly observing the world around them and making connections. I’m so grateful for the invaluable skills I’ve acquired through the creative process, which is why I encourage my students to think like artists as well. When I’m not teaching or making art, I like to do fun things outside, travel and play the ukulele.
