Originally from Maryland, I have lived in Baltimore for the past 6 years.  I received a B.S. in Art Education at Temple University, and a M.Ed of Art Education from Towson University. I have taught Photography, Graphic Design, Drawing and Painting, and Fundamentals of Art. As a practicing artist, I enjoy many mediums. Currently, I am most active in my ceramics & watercolor artworks. I am passionate about fiber arts, and have my own Tie Dye business! My intention in creating my art, is to emanate the radiant beauty of the unique human experience. I attempt to do this through bold color choices, patterns, and nature inspired themes. As an art teacher, I strive to cultivate a safe environment where all students feel free to express themselves creatively! More important than learning new techniques, I hope to inspire bravery in experimentation and risk taking in my art classroom.  We are all artists, we just need to tune in! Outside of art, I enjoy concerts, camping/hiking, yoga, journaling, and exercising. I love to travel to different countries in the summer. On weekends, you can find me with a good cup of coffee & walking my Australian Shepard Samoa. I am so excited to move to Denver, and teach at McAuliffe International!
