I was born and raised in Aurora, Colorado. I have always had an interest in assisting children through their educational journey. Since I began working in high school I have held a job working with children in some capacity. I began working in daycares and found my true passion during college when I worked at Special Links a private school for children with special needs and became the Transitional Director. Although I was already on the path to working with children I was able to cultivate my interest and received a degree from Metro State University in transitional services for the special needs population. After graduation I became the director at an after school program and later transitioned to a Community Liaison with Aurora Public Schools. For the past two years I have been a middle school Restorative Justice Coordinator and Educational Counselor. Most of my free time is dedicated to my son and creating new experiences for him. I also volunteer at my son’s school, our church and Whiz Kids.
