Teachers & Staff

I grew up in San Diego, CA, and received my Bachelor’s degree in Physiological Sciences from UCLA. After college, I traveled around North America for two years as a leadership consultant for college women, then moved to Tennessee to earn my Master’s degree in Teaching and begin my teaching career. I spent two years teaching science in TN, then moved to Washington State, where I was a founding teacher of an accelerated middle school STEM magnet program. I also taught robotics and coached my school’s FIRST Lego League competitive robotics team. After five years in the Pacific Northwest, I missed the sunshine, so Colorado was my next (and hopefully final) stop. I taught at a charter high school in Denver for two years, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to teach robotics again through PLTW at McAuliffe! In my free time, I love to ski, travel, play with my dog, and spend time outside.
