I am a Colorado native that has had the pleasure of calling Denver home for the past two years. I was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado, and I graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a B.A. in Spanish Language and Literature and my teaching endorsement. During my four amazing years at CU, I studied abroad in Granada, Spain, where my love for Spanish and the world really solidified. I student taught in the middle school levels at a K-8 school in Boulder Valley Schools before graduating. After graduation, I moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina to teach English and explore for a year. I travelled much of South America, learning from the chaotic cultures and beautiful nature that the continent has to offer. Before joining McAuliffe, I taught 3rd-5th grade Spanish for two years at Isabella Bird Community School in Stapleton. In my free time, I enjoy staying active by doing yoga, hiking, boxing and skiing. I spend lots of time with my parents and boyfriend in Boulder and my friends all across the front range. During summers and breaks, I travel as much as possible.
