I was born and raised in Alabama and graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. After completing my degree in 2011, I moved to Denver with my husband. I have worked in education for 9 years, teaching the last two years at the middle school level. In 2020 I earned my Master’s degree in Administrative Leadership for the University of Kansas. During my free time, I love to go hiking in the mountains, gardening, and spending time with my spunky three-year-old daughter. I am passionate about learning who my students are and aspire to be, then helping them get to that place. I am excited to be a part of the McAuliffe team.
