I was born and raised in Ellicott City, Maryland and graduated from Frostburg State University with my Bachelors Degree in Social Studies with a concentration in Secondary Education. I moved to Colorado in 2019 after living in Barcelona, Spain once I finished college. My passion for education lies in helping students tap into their passions and interests, and being able to use the time spent in my classes to form good habits that will be beneficial in all aspects of school and life. I love teaching Social Studies because learning how we got to where we are now can help us appreciate the present and set ourselves up for success in the future! Outside of the classroom, I enjoy riding my bike, photography, spending time with friends, playing outside, and reading. I’m so lucky and proud to be a part of the McAuliffe community!
