As communicated at the beginning of the school year, DPS Transportation has adapted a new app called My Ride K-12. With this app, families can receive late bus alerts, view route information and check their child’s bus location.
Therefore, scanning on and off our buses is mandatory and students are required to have a QR code on their phone or printed ID. Due to these new requirements, DPS Transportation has created an instructional sheet (Google Doc) taking you through the process of finding, printing or placing the QR codes on your student’s phone. The instructions are also available in multiple languages on the Transportation website.
To ensure that the My Ride K-12 app is functioning properly, we ask that guardians and students frequently use the app. If you have questions, email the Transportation department.
