I always knew I wanted to be a teacher! Growing up in Pennsylvania, my bedroom was my stage and my stuffed animals my audience as I “taught” them basic grammar and addition. My family relocated to North Carolina, where I earned a degree in Teaching Theatre Arts from Appalachian State University. After teaching theatre at the high school level for a few years, I followed my parents to colorful Colorado. Fully immersed in the world of dramatic arts, I furthered my education by earning a master’s degree in Theatre Education from the University of Northern Colorado. When I’m not in the classroom, I love to travel, cook, take photographs, read, sing show tunes, and explore our beautiful Rockies with my two favorites — Andrew and our crazy mutt Roscoe.
