I am so thrilled to be a part of the McAuliffe team! I recently moved to the Denver area from Chicago, IL. I taught five years of middle school science in Chicago Public Schools and this will be my second year working for the DPS district. I studied Earth and Space Science Education at Illinois State University, and my love for rocks is what brought me here to the beautiful Rocky Mountains. I am currently working on my masters in Teaching Diverse Learners at The University of Northern Colorado. It is my passion to see all learners of all backgrounds succeed and discover the world around them. In my free time I love to be outside hiking and camping with my rescued pit bull, Juno, talking to my turtle, Walter, watching sports, or cooking and baking.
