I am originally from Houston, Texas, went to Colorado College for my undergraduate, where I studied Psychology and Education, and Claremont Graduate University for my Master’s degree, where I studied motivation and well-being. This is my third year teaching ELA, and my first year teaching at McAuliffe International School. I love to volunteer. Since moving back to Colorado, I have been volunteering with Paradox Sports, which is an organization that takes differently abled people rock climbing. I also volunteer with Children’s Hospital Colorado Burn Camps Program, a summer camp for people who have survived burn injuries. In my free time I like to go rock climb, play soccer, run, read, drink coffee, and eat pizza.
