I am so excited to be a part of such a distinguished program. I come from a big family in a small town in upstate New York. I earned my degree in physical education at State University of New York at Cortland, where I am also finishing my graduate degree. My enthusiasm for physical education began when I was middle school aged. I took to working at my home elementary school’s after-school and summer programs all while coaching soccer. I loved it so much I never looked back, and I have since spent the past 10 years working with children and young adults in a range of different settings from physical and adapted physical education to coaching and ski instructing. Soccer and skiing are my two biggest passions, but I love to participate in almost any sporting activity.
