I am thrilled to join the McAuliffe community! I grew up in Columbia, Missouri and moved out west to attend the University of Colorado at Boulder where I received my bachelor’s degree and realized I could never leave! I later completed my master’s degree in special education from the University of Colorado-Denver, a math intervention certificate, and became an ADHD certified professional. I previously taught at Campus Middle School in Cherry Creek Schools and Graland Country Day School. I am passionate about supporting struggling students and helping them find success and confidence in the learning environment. I believe every day allows for a new chance to grow, learn, change, and/or make a mistake. When I’m not in school, you can find me skiing, camping, hiking, reading, or traveling with my husband, two young children, and sweet pup.
