Pamela Leonidas

7th Grade Assistant Principal

Department(s):
Administration

My name is Pamela Leonidas and I am the new assistant principal for 7th grade. I am Haitian-American born and raised in Atlanta, Ga. I moved to Denver almost 5 years ago, where I started my career in education as a 7th and 8th grade social studies teacher in the far northeast at Noel Community Arts School. In my fourth year in education, I transitioned to teaching African American studies at the high school level, as well as being an Instructional Coach and an Equity Team Leader at Dr. Martin Luther King Early College. This past school year, I moved out of the classroom to serve as a Dean of Culture, Social Studies Content Lead, while retaining my previous leadership roles. I feel honored and blessed to be a part of such a strong, robust, and beautiful community. I want to ensure each and every parent/guardian that I will care for, advocate, and push ALL of our kids. I look forward to building relationships with the most important people in our kids’ lives–you.
