Hi there! I’m Susan Frieman, and I am honored to be joining the incredible faculty and staff at McAuliffe International! I was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia. I received my BFA from The University of Cincinnati and my MAT from the University of California, Irvine. My family and I recently relocated to Denver from Long Beach, CA. While in California, I taught for a STEAM magnet program in the Los Angeles Unified School District, where our focus was Project Based Learning. I love teaching middle school, and I center my classroom around kindness and curiosity.
When I’m not in the classroom, you can find me cruising record stores, seeking out local spots for live music, or dancing at Red Rocks! I am a huge football fan and, on weekends in the fall, I am cheering for the Georgia Bulldogs and the Green Bay Packers. My son, husband, and I have been blown away by the beauty, kindness, and peace we have found here in Colorado, and we are deeply grateful to call it our new home!
